Your Mission

Following the acquisition of Codemotion by Index.dev, we are looking for a Head of Delivery &
Engineering to lead the Software Development Services business unit and support its next phase of
growth.
This role combines three critical areas of responsibility:

Technical Sales Leadership

Delivery Excellence

AI-Driven Engineering Transformation
The successful candidate will serve as a trusted technical authority in client engagements, helping
prospects and customers understand, validate, and adopt software solutions delivered by Index.dev.
You will work closely with clients, engineering teams, and leadership to ensure successful project
delivery while driving the adoption of modern AI-enabled software development practices.
This is not a traditional CTO role. The existing CTO remains within the organization. Instead, this position
focuses on bridging technical expertise, delivery execution, and client-facing solution leadership.
Key responsibilities

Technical sales & client advisory (primary focus)

• Act as the senior technical representative during client meetings, discovery sessions, and
  solution discussions.
  Support commercial teams by providing technical expertise and credibility throughout the sales
  process.
  
• Translate business challenges into practical technical solutions and delivery approaches.
  Help clients evaluate feasibility, architecture options, risks, and implementation strategies.
  
• Build trust with enterprise-level clients through strong technical communication and consultative
  engagement.
  
• Contribute to proposal development, project scoping, effort estimation, and solution design.
  
• Confidently engage with larger enterprise opportunities and strategic accounts.
  
• Delivery leadership & operational excellence
  
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality expectations.
  
• Work closely with engineering leaders, project managers, and delivery teams to maintain
  execution excellence.
  
• Improve delivery processes, workflows, and operational efficiency where necessary.
  
• Monitor delivery performance, client satisfaction, project risks, and overall project health.
  
• Collaborate with the CTO and engineering teams to ensure technical decisions are effectively
  translated into execution plans.
  
• Support team allocation, resource planning, and project prioritization.3. AI-driven engineering leadership
  
• Champion AI-enabled software development practices across the organization.
  
• Drive adoption of modern AI-assisted engineering workflows and productivity tools.
  
• Help shape delivery methodologies that leverage AI to improve speed, quality, and efficiency.
  
• Act as an advocate for AI transformation while maintaining a pragmatic understanding of current
  technological limitations.
  
• Support clients in understanding how AI can accelerate software delivery and business
  outcomes.
• Integration & Change Management
• Support the ongoing integration of Codemotion into the broader Index.dev ecosystem.
• Work effectively within an existing organization and guide change in a structured and collaborative manner.
• Build strong relationships with engineering, sales, operations, and leadership teams.
• Help align processes, communication, and execution standards across teams.

Your Profile

• Strong technical background with previous experience as a Software Engineer, Architect,
  
• Engineering Manager, Delivery Leader, Solutions Engineer, or similar role.
  
• Proven experience in software development services, outsourcing, consulting, or software
  agencies.
  
• Ability to communicate confidently with both technical and business stakeholders.
  
• Experience participating in technical sales, pre-sales, solution consulting, or client advisory
  activities.
  
• Strong understanding of software delivery, project execution, and engineering team operations.
  
• Demonstrated ability to work with enterprise clients and complex software projects.
  
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Experience managing change, integration, or organizational transformation initiatives is highly
  valued.
  
• AI-positive mindset and strong interest in AI-driven software development practices.
  
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant leadership experience.
