Responsibilities:
Source and recruit professional drivers through job boards, referrals, social media, and outreach to diverse communities. Spanish language skills are a plus.
Conduct phone screens and interviews in English (Spanish is a beneficial skill).
Build a consistent pipeline of qualified driver candidates (company drivers, owner-operators, etc.).
Coordinate background checks, MVRs, and other pre-employment requirements.
Maintain accurate candidate records and track hiring progress.
Ensure excellent candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.
Collaborate with dispatch, compliance, and safety teams to align hiring with operational needs.
Requirements:
Fluency in English (Spanish is a plus).
Previous experience in driver recruiting, dispatch, or transportation staffing preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with DOT regulations, CDL requirements, and driver qualifications (a plus).
Comfortable using platforms, spreadsheets, and online sourcing tools.
Ability to build trust and rapport with diverse candidates.
