Orange Systems is looking for a new colleague to fill in the position of Senior Cloud Engineer to work with our International Partners.
As a Senior Cloud Engineer you'll contribute to the success of project through your technical proficiency, collaborative spirit, and commitment to excellence.
what you will be doing:
- Collaborate with the software engineering team to develop and enhance cloud-native applications, leveraging Python and FastAPI for robust and scalable solutions.
- Utilize your deep AWS knowledge to architect and manage cloud resources, ensuring security, scalability, and availability.
- Implement Terraform for defining and provisioning cloud infrastructure, following best practices.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to automate build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring code quality and security.
- Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems for real-time insights into cloud service performance, responding proactively to incidents.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues using Sentry, CloudWatch, and QuickSight, implementing effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate closely with software engineering, data science, and BI teams to ensure seamless integration of system architecture.
what we are looking for:
- 4-5+ years of experience with the Python stack, particularly with Pydantic and FastAPI
- Experience working with AWS, including services such as ECS, Athena and DynamoDB
- Experience working with Terraform for infrastructure as code, or a similar language.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing and E2E testing
- Solid understanding of monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., QuickSight, CloudWatch).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and version control systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent communication skills in English
