Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and proactive International Freight Dispatcher to join our growing team.

We provide full-service dispatch support for U.S. trucking operations, managing the entire process from finding suitable loads and negotiating with brokers to booking shipments and coordinating drivers. Our dispatch operations run 24/7, ensuring continuous support for drivers, brokers, and customers.

We are looking for someone who understands the U.S. freight market, communicates confidently in English, and can independently manage dispatch operations in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

Load Sourcing & Broker Negotiations

• Search for available loads that match our trucks, routes, and operational requirements.
• Communicate with freight brokers and negotiate competitive rates.
• Review load details, negotiate terms, and secure bookings.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with brokers.

Load Booking & Coordination

• Handle the complete load booking process.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments.
• Provide drivers with accurate load details, instructions, and schedules.
• Ensure all necessary documentation, including rate confirmations and proof of delivery (PODs), is properly handled.

Driver Communication & Shipment Monitoring

• Maintain regular communication with drivers throughout their routes.
• Provide timely updates and instructions regarding assigned loads.
• Track shipments and monitor pickup and delivery progress.
• Keep brokers informed about shipment status and any changes.
• Resolve operational issues, including delays, breakdowns, missed appointments, and other unexpected situations.

Daily Dispatch Operations

• Manage assigned trucks and coordinate daily transportation activities.
• Maintain accurate load information in the company's transportation management system.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure seamless dispatch coverage.
• Provide consistent dispatch support during assigned shifts, including nights and weekends as part of our 24/7 operation.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in U.S. trucking dispatching or freight transportation is strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of the U.S. freight market, load boards, broker negotiations, and dispatch procedures.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or equivalent) – excellent spoken and written English is essential.
• Confidence communicating with U.S.-based drivers and freight brokers by phone and email.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple trucks and tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with load boards and transportation management systems.
