About the Company

Our client is an international company operating in the retail sector, managing a network of fuel stations across Moldova for 28 years. As part of the department's continued development, we are looking for an Asset Management Team Leader who will be responsible for the technical condition and development of the station network across the country.

Job Description

• Develop the country-level asset management strategy
• Advise the Retail Manager on all asset-related matters
• Adapt the overall company strategy to local market conditions, implement it, and continuously monitor its execution
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the network
• Ensure timely and complete information on asset-related matters
• Provide regular reporting to the International Asset Manager
• Analyze the performance of the existing network and develop improvement proposals: identify cost-saving opportunities, close or sell underperforming sites, and propose opening new stations where the economic evaluation is positive
• Manage the relationship and processes with owners of leased stations — from investment appraisal and design through construction supervision and site handover
• Modernize existing stations following a positive economic evaluation
• Manage nationwide maintenance activities: develop maintenance plans, run tender processes, set budgets, and liaise with service providers
• Manage real estate lease agreements: renew contracts, negotiate terms, administer existing agreements, and approve changes to the asset base
• Plan and control CAPEX within the approved budget
• Monitor project timelines and ensure implementation of a consistent site portfolio standard
• Support network expansion through data collection and analysis
• Manage contracted suppliers, monitor budgets, and ensure deadlines are met
• Ensure communication between departments and external parties
• Coordinate with other departments, including regular site visits to monitor project progress

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a similar or related role involving management of a network of sites — preferably from retail, but candidates from other industries are also welcome
• Strong command of English
• Driver's license — required
• Willingness to travel regularly to sites across the country
