We are looking for a Junior IT Support Engineer to join our office-based IT Support Department in Chișinău. This is an excellent opportunity for a student, recent graduate, or someone at the beginning of their IT career who is eager to learn, gain hands-on experience, and develop technical skills in a professional environment.

This is an initial 3–6 month contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

• Provide first-line technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows workstations, business applications, and user accounts.
• Prepare and set up computers and equipment for new employees.

IT Infrastructure Support

• Assist with the administration and maintenance of the company's network infrastructure.
• Support the configuration and monitoring of networking equipment, VPN connectivity, and overall system performance under the guidance of senior team members.

Maintenance & Administration

• Perform routine maintenance of IT equipment, software updates, and hardware replacements.
• Assist with backup procedures, data protection activities, and maintaining technical documentation.

Collaboration

• Work closely with the IT team to resolve technical issues and support internal IT projects.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues while continuously learning new technologies and improving technical skills.

Your Skills and Qualifications

• Student or graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent technical knowledge).
• Previous experience is not required.
• Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and computer hardware.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN concepts) is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Good command of English.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and quickly develop technical skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Well-organized, responsible, and attentive to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help others.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
