QSI International School of Chisinau is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dependable Teacher Assistant to join our Early Childhood team and support our 2-year-old class. This is a full-time position.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM

Position Purpose The Teacher Assistant works closely with the classroom teacher to support students in all learning environments, helping create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom while assisting in achieving instructional goals.

Qualifications

• Strong spoken and written English, Romanian.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
• At least one year of experience working with young children is preferred.
• A university degree is preferred.
• A police background check is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Support classroom instruction under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
• Assist with teaching activities, including working with small groups or individual students.
• Foster a positive, caring, and supportive learning environment.
• Supervise children safely during classroom activities, assessments, and outdoor or school activities.
• Prepare and organize classroom materials and learning resources.
• Perform administrative tasks, including typing, filing, photocopying, and recording assessment results.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and school events.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the school.

Salary Salary will be based on qualifications and experience and will follow the QSI International School of Chisinau salary scale.
