About the Company

An established group of small service businesses operating across property rental management, cleaning services, and a renovation venture currently in its startup phase. The group has a functioning team, recently defined roles, and documented processes that are actively being implemented. The business is now entering a stage focused on financial health, operational discipline, and the controlled scaling of its newest business line.

Role Context

The owner has deliberately stepped back from day-to-day operations and works remotely, dedicating 4–6 hours per week to the business. The CEO will take full operational leadership of the group and complete the implementation of the governance and management system currently being delivered with an external consultancy, including the organizational structure, authority framework, and KPI system.
The first 6 months are focused on stabilizing the existing businesses and establishing financial discipline. In parallel, the CEO will prepare and execute the controlled scaling of the renovation venture without putting the core businesses at financial risk.

What Challenges Will You Face?

• Taking over a management system mid-implementation, completing it, and ensuring that the organizational structure, authority matrix, and KPI framework are used in daily operations.
• Bringing several service businesses onto a break-even trajectory through entity-level profitability analysis, cost control, budgeting, and cash-flow discipline.
• Operating with a remote owner who is available 4–6 hours per week and relies primarily on structured written communication, decision logs, and defined escalation paths.
• Scaling a startup-stage renovation venture while setting clear resource limits and pause criteria so that growth does not endanger the core businesses.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience as a CEO, General Manager, Managing Director, COO, or Operations Director in a small or mid-sized company.
• At least one documented turnaround case where you brought a business or business unit from losses to break-even or profitability, with figures you can present and explain.
• Hands-on experience launching or scaling at least one business line from an early stage.
• Experience personally recruiting, interviewing, and evaluating managers or department heads.
• Practical experience implementing organizational structures, management systems, and business processes, including systems designed by external consultants or other stakeholders.
• Strong command of management accounting: P&L, cash flow, budget planning, budget control, and monthly plan-versus-actual analysis; advanced Excel skills and the ability to personally work with management reports.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Schedule, Work Format and Employment Terms

• Format: Hybrid.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday.
• Employment type: Full-time.
• Probation period: 2 months.
• Salary: €3,000–€4,000 per month + KPI-based performance bonus.
