About Us

The Unit is a software development company focused on Sportsbetting, Gambling & iGaming industries, with headquarters in Ireland. Our team is delighted to have been collaborating with customers from across the globe since 2017.

We are looking for an HR Manager to manage HR processes and administration across the company (~140 employees), with a primary focus on our Moldova-based team (~80 employees).

This role ensures that HR operations are structured, consistent, and reliable, while supporting a smooth and well-managed employee experience across the full lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy and proper maintenance of employee records, HR data, and documentation.
  • Manage leave tracking and core HR administration processes.
  • Coordinate and execute onboarding and offboarding processes end-to-end.
  • Maintain and continuously improve HR processes and workflows.
  • Manage and update the employee handbook and internal HR policies.
  • Coordinate probation period reviews and performance cycles.
  • Act as the main point of contact for employee HR-related questions and support.
  • Monitor employee feedback and support engagement initiatives.
  • Prepare HR reports and workforce statistics.
  • Support talent sourcing activities when needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in human resources (HR operations, HR administration, or HR generalist roles).
  • Experience supporting teams of 50+ employees.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain structured systems.
  • Experience improving HR processes in a growing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills and a practical, problem-solving mindset.
  • Upper-intermediate level of English.
  • Previous experience in recruitment is considered an advantage.
