We're looking for a Structural Engineer to become part of our dynamic and friendly team.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and calculating steel structures (main load-bearing structures, mezzanine floors, stairs, platforms, etc.)
- Assessing structural safety, stability, and detailing according to Eurocodes and other relevant standards
- Providing input for working and production drawings
- Reviewing and assessing calculations and designs from colleagues or external parties
- Advising project teams on structural decisions and optimizations
- Preparing reports, structural documentation, and delivery files
- Identifying bottlenecks and providing solutions within the design process
- Coordinating with engineering, project management, and production to ensure feasibility
- Attending project meetings, construction meetings, and client visits when necessary
- Ensuring proper archiving of calculations and documents
- Staying up to date with developments in the field
Skills:
- Experience with structural calculation and design software such as SCIA Engineer, IDEA, Tekla, or similar
- Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in English (German is a plus)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s level of education, preferably in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of standards, regulations, and procedures in steel construction
