The Association of Film and Video Creators from Moldova is seeking a dynamic executive director. Our goal is to foster connections between creators, producers, the state, and viewers of national films, supporting a flourishing film and video production sector in Moldova.
Key Focus:
We are specifically looking for an individual with a strong background in management, leadership, and administration. Prior knowledge of the film industry is not required; we value curiosity, courage, and a strong desire to learn about film production.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the organization’s day-to-day operations, event coordination, and financial management.
- Act as the main point of contact with members, media, and stakeholders.
- Manage administrative tasks, human resources, and project implementation.
- Work collaboratively with the board to strategize and execute organizational goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in organizational management, leadership, and administration.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Strong financial management skills, including bookkeeping and oversight of billing cycles.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate events, and handle administrative tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in human resource management, including the recruitment and supervision of personnel.
- Skilled in maintaining and organizing company records and managing office inventory.
- Technical proficiency with office equipment and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated the ability to implement strategies and oversee project development as guided by the board.
- Strong ethics and integrity, with a focus on serving the collective interests of members and stakeholders.
- Effective lobbying skills to advocate for the industry's interests.
- Fluency in English and local languages, with exceptional interpersonal skills.
