Project HOPE is an international NGO of more than 900 engaged employees and hundreds of volunteers who work in more than 25 countries, responding to the world’s most pressing global health challenges. Project HOPE prioritizes locally-led development programs that support the primary healthcare system by strengthening the capacity of local actors to deliver quality services to the population.
Project HOPE, also, focuses on providing medical equipment and critical items to Moldova's critical health infrastructure to ensure timely access to vital medical resources, with a direct impact on quality of care, patient outcomes, emergency response, and overall institutional resilience during crises. Project HOPE provides health and humanitarian assistance to local people in need and displaced people from Ukraine, as well as refugees from neighboring countries fleeing the ongoing conflict.

Position Purpose:

Support program operation in:

• Project Quality Implementation and Management
• Donor and Internal Progress Reporting
• Field Monitoring
• Partnership Development and Networking

Main Responsibilities

• Offer leadership in the design and implementation of the country`s strategic program.
• Support the building and maintaining of high-level Program-related partnerships with recognized institutions.
• Take leadership in the development of appropriate programming tools for the development, implementation, and closing of programs.
• Work closely with regional team to ensure creation of the quality concept notes and proposals, including the budgets, log frames and work plans.
• Monitoring project progress and creating project status reports for program officers and stakeholders.
• Managing project management documents such as the project plan, budget, schedule, or scope statement, as directed by the program officers.
• Adapt to changing project requirements and addressing challenges.
• Ensure the quality and integrity of program deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks that may impact program success.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program efficiency.
• Ensure program activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Manage timelines and deadlines for program milestones.
• Draft internal and external reports to donors, partners, and other involved stakeholders.
• Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.
• Ensuring that stakeholders, vendors, and other partners’ needs are met as the project evolves.
• Develop and track budgets, in close collaboration with the finance department, develop and track project procurement plans and work plans to ensure proper personnel, facilities, and supplies are available to meet program deliverables.
• Delegate tasks to team members and help them understand what’s expected from them in terms of project milestones and deliverables.

Educational background:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Health, Business Administration, Project Management, Public Administration, etc.)
• Master's degree in a related field may be advantageous
