Job opening through Digi Talents Moldova Mobility Programme 

  • Position: Programmer, Integration Analyst
  • Place of work: Bratislava, Slovakia
  • Company: VÚB bank
  • Wage (gross): Minimum salary starts at 2500 EUR/month based on relevant experience.

Information about the position:

The Integration Analyst Programmer is a position with direct reporting to the Dev-Ops team leader. On the basis of analytical assignments and requirements, independently prepares configuration codes for integration solutions in the field of application (online/batch) integration. He/She consults his/her outputs with analysts, architects and colleagues from the Dev-Ops team. He/She is responsible for the quality of his/her deliveries. He/She complies with the required standardization and integration of business functionality of source code management.

Your responsibilities:

  • programing, programing, programing :) solutions using a set of technology platforms used for modern, flexible integrations
  • provides expertise on technical areas for projects, monitors, identifies and evaluates technological trends, anticipates new possibilities and supports their introduction,
  • develops acceptable detailed specifications and implementation requirements for existing platforms, but also designs new platforms with innovative features and added value for the client,
  • provides mentoring support to junior colleagues in implementing solutions and using related best practices
  • prepares information and relevant inputs for the bank's management to support decision-making,
  • supports the preparation and assessment of various IT solution alternatives and recommends the most optimal solutions,
  • supports Integration Analysts in their activities where consultations are required.

Required Technical and Professional Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in the field of IT development, ideally integration of IT solutions for medium or medium-sized organizations, IT analysis, SOA architecture
  • previous analytical and programming experience in the field of IT is an advantage                                   
  • 3+ years of integration development, software and/or application development experience                   
  • advantage of experience in agile principles and/or Continuos Integration, Continuos Delivery                 
  • practical experience with technologies and principles for online data exchange is an advantage             
  • basic knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns
  • experience with an agile culture, with coordination and task fulfillment through cooperation with internal and external teams is a significant advantage
  • experience with code modeling techniques and macro/scripting languages                                             
  • demonstrable experience with Java 8+                                                                                                       
  • necessary knowledge of SQL, W3C standards used for Integration                                                             
  • user knowledge of Linux/Unix systems is required                                                                                     
  • CI/CD: git, Maven, Gradle, Teamcity an advantage                                                                                       
  • control of work with data formats XSD, JSON, XML, Avro, positional formats, CSV like format...               
  • practical experience working with web services SOAP over HTTP, WSDL, REST WS, WADL, Swagger         
  • knowledge of protocols and API: JMS, JDBC, JAX-WS, REST API, Oracle AQ                                               
  • basic knowledge of JMX will be nice but not a necessary condition
  • practical experience with Oracle Database 12c+ and MS SQL server 2017+                                               
  • knowledge of IBM DB2 is an advantage
  • experience with Websphere, Tomcat application servers. Jboss and Jetty                                                   
  • a significant benefit is practical knowledge of UML modeling, ideally in Enterprise Architect                   
  • experience with the integration platforms IBM ESB/ACE, Oracle ESB, Oracle Data Integrator, Spring Integration, etc., will please us.
  • proven critical thinking skills, proven conflict management skills, excellent multi-tasking, prioritization and time management skills, high commitment and exemplary productivity                                             
  • the ability to accept goals outside the comfort zone, ready to study new topics, to provide convincing presentations of their findings, asynthesis of acquired knowledge
  • the desire to learn new things with the ability to use/pass on the acquired knowledge to colleagues     
  • successfully motivating to work in an individual and team environment                                                   
  • knowledge of SW development, IT development trends
  • knowledge of banking                                                                                                                                 
  • knowledge, experience with data and application modeling                                                                       
  • English – B2 level

About the Tekwill Project implemented by ATIC

Tekwill has been designed as a national public private partnership between the Government of Moldova, USAID, Microsoft, and IBM to answer the needs of the ICT industry to close the gap of the human capital shortage, as well as support the development of the entrepreneurship ecosystem. The initial goal of the project was to contribute to the extension of the Tekwill project as a sustainable network and deploy its programs on regional/national level. The project aims at determining the operation model of the network, determining business plans for the relevant created centers or partners in the regions, deploy scalable activities to connect an estimated of 150,000 people to ICT (school and university students, community, etc.), deploy entrepreneurship programs aiming at both scaling up existing programs, as well as create inclusive innovation platforms for the regions, with their respective specifics and potential to absorb/apply ICT. We envision a minimum 10,000 beneficiaries/year for each direction (education and entrepreneurship) As a result of the project, 2 main outcomes of the project are expected: more and better qualified skills and workforce developed leading to a stronger ICT industry in Moldova, as well as creating the premises for a Startup Moldova program driving opportunities for companies seeking capitalization.
