AI SKILLS is a Chișinău-based company that builds AI agents and automations for businesses, international organizations and public institutions in Moldova.

As an AI Engineer, you will design, build and ship LLM-based systems that clients use every day.

You will:

• Build AI agents and automations using Claude and OpenAI models, including RAG pipelines, tool use and MCP servers.
  Integrate them with client systems: APIs, CRMs, 1C, Bitrix24, and messaging platforms (WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber, Instagram, Facebook).
• Develop the web layer around them when needed: back end, admin panels, dashboards.
  
• Evaluate output quality, control cost per token, and keep systems reliable after launch.
  
• Talk to clients directly to clarify requirements and present results.
  
• Document your work so any team member can maintain it.
  
• This is a remote role. We start with a paid project. If it works for both sides, we continue full-time.
  

Qualifications

Required:

• 2+ years of production experience in Python or TypeScript.
  
• At least one LLM-based application you built that is used by real people, not tutorial projects. Share a link to the repo, demo or a 2-minute video.
  
• Practical understanding of context windows, RAG, embeddings, function calling and prompt design.
  
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and working with relational or NoSQL databases.
  
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver without daily supervision.
  
• Romanian at a level that allows direct communication with clients.
  

Nice to have:

• Experience building agents with any modern agent framework or SDK, or from scratch.
  
• Experience with MCP, n8n or similar automation tools.
  
• Full-stack experience with a modern frontend framework.
  
• Experience with 1C or Bitrix24 integrations.
  
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications on cloud or client-owned servers.
