Why this role, now

Everyone who becomes a Joymind client starts by looking for an answer. Where they look is changing fast. Some still type a question into Google. A growing share ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or Perplexity, read the two or three names the answer gives them, and never scroll past it.

Nobody in our category has claimed that ground yet. Whoever gets cited in those answers over the next couple of years sets the default, and we would rather it were us. That is the job.

What you’ll own

• Organic and AI search as one channel. We look at consultations booked, not impressions. You’ll be measured on what the channel brings in, not on how many keywords moved.
• AI search visibility (GEO/AEO). Track how assistants answer the questions our future clients ask, work out who gets named and why, and close the distance between that and Joymind.
• Content strategy, end to end. Question and keyword research, topic clusters mapped to what we actually offer, and a calendar you keep current.
• The writing itself. You write most of it — articles, FAQs, the answer-shaped pages assistants tend to quote. Think eight to ten solid pieces a month plus the core pages, in English.
• Writing that doesn’t read like everyone else’s. Our category is drowning in interchangeable wellness copy. Yours should sound like a person who knows the subject. 
• On-page and technical fundamentals. Titles, headings, internal linking, structured data, indexation, mobile and speed — done by you, or specified clearly enough for a developer to do it.

What we’re looking for

• 2–4 years of SEO for English-language sites aimed at US or UK audiences. 
• Writing you can show us. Published pieces in English, written for a US or UK reader, that you wrote rather than edited. This is a writing job as much as a strategy job — if writing isn’t something you enjoy, this role will wear on you.
• Hands-on GEO work, or a serious self-taught grip on it. Tell us what you’ve tried and what actually held up.
• Near-native written English. Copy that reads as translated won’t work for this audience, and an AI assistant’s output pasted into a page won’t either — we can tell, and so can readers.
• Comfortable with Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs or Semrush, and a CMS. Bonus for the AI-visibility trackers — Profound, Otterly, Peec, LLMrefs, or whatever you’ve found works better.
• Real curiosity about how models choose what to cite.
• Self-directed. You’ll work from home with minimal supervision and be our most senior voice on this.
