We are looking for a Senior Finance Specialist to take ownership of the finance and accounting processes for JUMBO retail operations in the Republic of Moldova.
JUMBO, part of Balfin Group, is a leading international retail company specializing in toys, home goods, seasonal items, and more. As part of its continued expansion, JUMBO has entered the Moldovan market, with planned store openings in Chișinău and Bălți.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping, purchase invoice entry, accounting documents, accounting entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare management reports and financial analysis for senior management.
- Prepare tax declarations and ensure compliance with all applicable tax and accounting regulations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
- Develop business plans, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of ERP systems and finance processes.
- Prepare and process monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with local labor and tax regulations.
- Support HR-related administrative tasks, employee records, and basic HR process coordination.

Professional Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a senior finance or accounting role.
- Previous experience in a corporate or multinational environment with well-established financial processes and reporting standards.
- Experience in retail, FMCG, distribution, or other fast-paced commercial businesses is preferred.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Experience participating in ERP implementation or finance transformation projects is considered an advantage.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
