Julia Valler Event Staffing is a high-end event staffing company serving private and corporate events across US. We’re growing fast and looking for a sharp, organized Communication Manager to be the link between our company and our event staff.

About the role

You’ll own daily communication with our staff, keep events confirmed and on track, and investigate and resolve issues fairly. This isn’t a script-reading job: we want someone who thinks critically, looks into the facts, and makes sound calls — not just forwards messages. You don’t need to know our tools yet; we’ll train you (including Ubeya to a booking-specialist level).

What you’ll do

• Handle all inbound and outbound staff communication across phone/SMS, email and chat
• Confirm staff for upcoming events and prevent no-shows and last-minute drops
• Investigate cancellations, no-shows, late arrivals, disputes and client feedback — gather evidence, decide, and document..
• Issue policy-based warnings and keep accurate staff records
• Onboard and check in with new hires; keep them engaged and informed
• Handle sensitive cases (sick leave, injuries, accommodations) per company policy, escalating when needed..
• Send a clear daily report and respond to online reviews...

What we’re looking for

• Strong critical thinking and judgment — you analyze, you don’t just follow steps
• Genuine ownership: you see problems through to resolution
• Fluent, professional written and verbal English (a must)
• Excellent organization, prioritization and attention to detail in a fast, fluctuating workload
• Calm, fair handling of conflict and sensitive situations
• Reliable high-speed internet and a professional headset
• Experience in events, hospitality, HR, support or operations is a plus

Terms

• Salary: $1,200/month base + KPI bonus..
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hrs/week guaranteed, 5 days a week. Core hours 9:00 AM–5:30 PM EST, with rotating weekend and after-hours coverage for live events — so days and hours will vary
• Setup: Remote. We provide full training on our tools and processes
