An international fintech company is looking for a specialist to work from the office in Chișinău. We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist who can turn data into business decisions and build scalable models with real impact. You will work in a modern environment with no legacy constraints, having full freedom to define technologies, architecture, and ways of working.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and preprocess data (cleaning, structuring, validation)
• Design and implement scalable predictive models
• Lead and execute data science experiments (A/B testing, validation)
• Translate business problems into machine learning solutions
• Build and optimize models (classification, clustering, regression)
• Deliver actionable insights to internal stakeholders
• Contribute to data science and analytics pipelines
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning
• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering
• Strong experience with Python and SQL
• Deep understanding of machine learning and predictive modeling
• Hands-on experience deploying models into production
• Experience working with large datasets (structured and unstructured)
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with MLOps, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Big Data tools (Spark)
• Experience in fintech or data-driven products
