You’ll work closely with our CMO and contribute to marketing and writing projects across different industries, helping turn business goals, technical expertise and product ideas into clear, relevant and engaging communication.
This is a part-time position, with the possibility of increasing the number of working hours over time, depending on business needs and your availability.
It’s a hands-on role with real ownership: you’ll coordinate marketing activities, work with internal and external stakeholders, develop content, support campaigns and help keep multiple marketing and content projects moving from idea to delivery.
What you will do:
You will be involved in different marketing processes and projects, supporting the CMO and collaborating with colleagues, designers, developers, sales teams and external partners. In practice, this means:
Marketing projects – supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of marketing projects across different industries and business areas;
Writing & content projects – taking ownership of different writing assignments, including website copy, articles, case studies, interviews, newsletters, presentations, campaign content and other business or marketing materials;
Content & copywriting – creating clear, human and business-oriented content, while adapting tone and messaging to different audiences, industries and communication channels;
AI-supported content creation – using AI tools to support research, ideation, drafting and content development while ensuring the final communication remains accurate, relevant and human;
Campaign support – contributing to digital campaigns, email marketing, social media activities, lead generation initiatives and other marketing programs;
Website & digital content – supporting website updates, landing pages, SEO-related content and coordination with design and development teams;
Stakeholder communication – communicating effectively with management, technical teams, sales, designers, external agencies, partners and other stakeholders involved in marketing projects;
Marketing materials – supporting the development of brochures, presentations, event materials, banners, case studies and other commercial communication;
Events & employer branding – supporting exhibitions, conferences, company events and selected employer-branding initiatives when relevant;
What do we expect from you?
A few things matter a lot to us:
5+ years of experience in marketing – with practical involvement in different marketing activities and projects;
At least 2–3 years of experience in the IT, technology, software or product-development industry – this is mandatory;
B2B marketing experience – is a strong advantage;
English at B2–C1 level – with confidence in both written and verbal communication;
Strong copywriting and writing skills – with the ability to structure ideas, interview subject-matter experts and translate complex or technical topics into clear, engaging and human content;
Confidence using AI tools as part of the marketing and writing workflow – while maintaining quality, accuracy and a consistent brand voice;
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills – with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical colleagues;
Good organizational and project-management skills – with the ability to manage several priorities and deadlines at the same time;
A proactive and solution-oriented mindset – you take ownership and help move projects forward;
Good attention to detail – and the ability to maintain consistency across different marketing materials and channels;
Basic design skills or a good visual sense – are a nice to have, especially when working with presentations, social media materials and visual briefs;
Team spirit, initiative and confidence – to bring your own ideas to the table.
What’s in it for you?
Here’s what you can expect in return:
Private health insurance;
Sports compensation for gym memberships or online sports subscriptions;
Flexible schedule;
Education budget for certifications, courses, trainings and conferences – part of it can also be spent on gadgets that stay yours;
The 5 pm Club – a concept developed by ISD to offer 1 hour every week for self-development, working on your own ideas, and/or presenting to the team to improve your public speaking skills;
Exposure to marketing projects across technology, software, industrial automation and other industries;
The opportunity to work closely with the CMO and contribute directly to positioning, campaigns, content, writing projects and business-oriented marketing initiatives.
If you have solid marketing experience, understand the technology environment, and enjoy turning complex ideas into communication that people actually want to read, we’d be happy to hear from you.
ISD is a spin-off of the Dutch Inther Group. Starting up as part of their development team we became a company in our own right. Today we still are a strategic development and maintenance partner to Inther but it has developed to a 2-way relationship. When needed, Inther supports us and our clients in The Netherlands, should need arise. In this way you can be assured that our projects have a solid Dutch back-up.
