Our client is an Israeli fintech company expanding its presence to the Moldovan market. The company provides secure international money transfer solutions — moving customer funds worldwide quickly, safely, and at competitive exchange rates — across a regulated, multi-region platform. The company also runs wallets, prepaid cards, and FX — serving customers, branch agents, and integration partners across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor customer transactions and account activity to identify unusual, suspicious, or high-risk behavior.
• Conduct investigations into alerts, exceptions, and potentially suspicious activities.
• Communicate professionally with customers to obtain information, explanations, and supporting documentation.
• Review and analyze customer responses and supporting evidence.
• Identify, document, and escalate suspicious or unusual activities in accordance with internal procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate, and well-documented investigation reports and case summaries.
• Maintain complete and organized records of investigations and customer communications.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve compliance-related matters.
• Support ongoing monitoring, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and investigations simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to research, investigate, and evaluate information objectively.
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and reliability.
• Basic technical proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and web-based applications.
• Fast learner with the ability to quickly understand new systems, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in compliance, transaction monitoring, fraud prevention, AML, financial crime investigations, banking, fintech, payments, or financial services.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance principles and risk-based decision-making.
• Experience conducting investigations and preparing professional reports.
• Experience working directly with customers regarding compliance-related inquiries.
