I am currently employed as an Electrical Maintenance Technician at the U.S. Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria.
I am seeking a permanent job, full-time position and am willing to relocate internationally. Due to my current employment and the necessary administrative procedures, I will be required to provide two months' notice.
I am available to begin work in September 2026, subject to the successful completion of my notice period and the granting of all necessary visas, work permits, and relocation assistance.

Electrical Maintenance Technician
Responsabilități:
•Install, inspect, maintain and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial and critical infrastructure facilities.•Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on electrical installations.
•Diagnose and repair faults on single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
•Install and maintain electrical panels, distribution boards, switchgear, circuit breakers, relays and contactors.
•Maintain electrical motors, pumping systems, generators and UPS equipment.
•Carry out electrical testing using multimeters, clamp meters, the Fluke 1664 FC Multifunction Installation Tester, and insulation resistance testers.
•Interpret electrical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.
•Perform electrical isolation using Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
•Maintain emergency power systems to ensure uninterrupted operation.
•Complete maintenance reports, inspection records and asset documentation.
•Provide emergency call-out support outside normal working hours.
•Carry out fault finding and maintenance on three-phase motors, motor control circuits, switchgear, and power distribution systems to ensure maximum operational reliability.
•Work safely in confined spaces, at height and within high-security environments.

During a visit to Washington, D.C., United States, I volunteered with SOME (So Others Might Eat), a nonprofit organization that provides food, shelter, healthcare, and support services to people experiencing homelessness.
As a volunteer, I assisted with serving meals, washing dishes after meal service, helping to prepare and distribute food, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and supporting staff with various daily activities.
