Junior DevOps Engineer

REQUIREMENTS:
- Solid Linux CLI knowledge (Ubuntu)
- Understanding of Kubernetes basics (deployments, services, namespaces, configmaps, secrets)
- Familiarity with Helm
- Basic SQL
- Basic Git skills (branches, merges, resolving conflicts)
- Experience with CI/CD concepts in GitLab or GitHub Actions
- Understanding of basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, ports, firewalls)
WOULD BE A PLUS:
- Understanding of Terraform or Ansible
- Basic knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki)
- Awareness of Vault or other secrets management tools
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with managing Kubernetes clusters, including deploying services, applying updates, and monitoring workloads
- Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines in both GitLab and GitHub Actions
- Apply changes to Kubernetes manifests and Helm charts following documentation
- Monitor infrastructure health via Prometheus, Grafana, and logging systems
- Perform routine operational tasks such as SSL certificate updates, DNS changes, and secret rotations
- Investigate alerts and basic incidents, escalating when needed
