The engineer coming onboard will be working within a close-knit team based in London and other parts of the world on an industry-first product that will change the way the $300B product licensing market operates. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines and creating reporting and dashboards for our team and clients. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded experienced Data Engineer who enjoys a new challenge, has attention to detail and has experience with Python and SQL.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain data pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Working with stakeholders to understand business requirements and then implement the code and required reports or dashboards.
• Implement ETL processes to handle large datasets from different sources into a unified and cohesive standard.
• Maintain high standards of data quality, security and governance.

Requirements

• Coding knowledge and experience with Python and pandas.
• At least 2 years of experience in Data Science/Engineering.
• Experience writing SQL queries.
• Experience with BI tools.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.

Will be a plus

• Experience with the command line and bash scripts.
• Experience integrating external data APIs and scraping websites for data.
• Experience with AWS Quicksight.
• Experience with big data and/or machine learning pipelines.
• Experience with cloud hosting services like AWS or Google Cloud, using services like S3 and data pipelines
