XAIRO is looking for an experienced Senior Developer in PHP and/or other PHP frameworks to join our team. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for developing complex SAAS-based payment solutions.

The required candidate will have high level PHP experience and comprehensive software development experience. We expect that in this role, time will be distributed as follows: 50% coding, 30 % sign and 20% team communication.

What are you going to do:

• Write efficient, testable and reusable code
• Solve complex performance and architectural problems
• Work closely with our developers and product owners on the agile team
• Help troubleshoot, test and support the product
• Follow company standards for code creation
• Perform code reviews and be a mentor for your colleagues
• Cover your code with tests

What exactly do we need:

• At least 5 years of development experience
• Strong PHP skills, PHP web frameworks (Laravel, Symphony) and OOP
• Javascript experience is a plus (React, Angular)
• Experience with microservices
• Experience in REST API development
• Good knowledge of relational databases
• Experience with frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel, Lumen
• AWS (SQS, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
• Knowledge of scalable application architecture
• Working with high load systems
• Understanding of security threats and “security by design” principles
• Understanding of the software development life cycle
• Experience in code review
• Willingness to work in a fast growing environment
