About the role

We are looking for a Junior Social Media & UGC Specialist to support our Social Media Manager with content creation, social media execution, and UGC collaborations. This is a hands-on role for someone very familiar with social media, enjoys creating and editing content, and wants to develop their skills in a fast-paced marketing environment.  Your role will be focused primarily on helping execute the content and UGC workflow to produce content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, and beyond, and for Amazon (product videos and ads), turning ideas and raw footage into assets built for where they'll run, and keeping our creator pipeline moving.

You don't need years of experience. We are looking for someone who has a good natural understanding of social media, is creative, organized, and eager to learn. You will work closely with and report to the Social Media Manager, who will provide the strategy, direction, and priorities. This is an execution-focused role for someone who lives on social, likes making and editing content, and wants to grow across the whole modern content stack rather than one narrow task. 

What you'll do?

Content & social execution

• Prepare, organize, and schedule content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube (and TikTok Shop, if relevant)
• Adapt each piece to its platform, because the same video rarely performs the same everywhere
• Research trends and viral formats, and bring the strong ones to the team

UGC & creators

• Coordinate our UGC creators: send briefs, share collaboration details, and keep their info and agreements organized
• Follow up on deliverables and deadlines
• Review submitted content, flag what needs changing, and learn to match creators to the formats they're naturally best at
• Brief and coordinate these creators, and review their content for product accuracy and platform specs

Video Editing

• Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
• Work with UGC/raw footage to create simple, engaging videos
• Add captions, cuts, music, transitions, and other basic edits
• Create different versions of content when needed
• Help adapt videos for different platforms

What we're looking for

• 1+ year of experience in social media, content creation, UGC, video editing, or a similar area
• Strong personal interest in TikTok and Instagram
• Good understanding of current social media trends
• Basic video editing skills, ideally with CapCut
• Good eye for what makes content engaging
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable working with creators
• Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and similar platforms
• Able to use Google Sheets or Excel for basic data analysis and tracking performance metrics
• Advanced English (written & spoken); German is an advantage
• Proactive, curious, and willing to learn
• A degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is a plus, but not required

The type of person we're looking for

We are looking for someone who gets social media naturally. You might be someone who already spends a lot of time on TikTok and Instagram, notices trends, saves videos for inspiration, and has an instinct for what makes a video interesting. You don't need to know everything yet. What matters is that you're hands-on, curious, creative and willing to learn. If you've created TikToks/Reels yourself, edited videos, worked with creators, managed a personal or brand social media account, or have examples of content you've made, we'd love to see them.
