Trevion Labs is a technology company based in Chișinău, developing scalable B2B software solutions for the iGaming industry.

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our growing engineering team and work on high-performance, reliable and scalable backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services
• Build and maintain REST APIs and event-driven systems
• Develop third-party and B2B integrations
• Work with high-volume transactional systems
• Design systems with high availability and fault tolerance in mind
• Improve backend performance, scalability and reliability
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code
• Participate in architectural decisions and technical planning
• Monitor, troubleshoot and improve production systems
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers and the wider product team

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional backend development experience
• Strong experience with at least one of:

Node.js / TypeScript

Java

C#

• Strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with Redis
• Experience with Docker
• Familiarity with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Good understanding of authentication, authorization and application security
• Experience building reliable, high-load backend systems
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills
• English communication skills

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in iGaming, betting, fintech or payment systems
• Kubernetes experience
• Microservices architecture experience
• Transaction processing and reconciliation systems
• Experience with observability, monitoring and logging infrastructure
