We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer who will design, implement, and maintain a modern cybersecurity program across the entire organization.
Position Overview
This is not just an IT support role. We are looking for someone who will take ownership of the company's cybersecurity strategy, protect our infrastructure, secure AI implementations, and ensure our business systems remain reliable and protected against cyber threats.
Responsibilities
Security Infrastructure
Design and maintain secure IT infrastructure.
Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, and secure remote access.
Secure Windows and Linux servers.
Manage Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and identity management.
Configure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO).
Endpoint & Network Security
Deploy and manage Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) solutions.
Monitor company devices and servers.
Perform vulnerability scanning and remediation.
Secure company laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
Manage antivirus and endpoint protection solutions.
Cloud & Microsoft 365 Security
Secure Microsoft 365 environment.
Secure Google Workspace (if applicable).
Configure Microsoft Defender.
Implement Conditional Access policies.
Protect SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and Teams.
AI & Application Security
As we integrate AI into our business, you will help ensure these technologies are implemented securely.
Responsibilities include:
Secure AI APIs.
Protect API keys and secrets.
Review AI integrations for security risks.
Secure automation workflows.
Implement secure access controls for AI systems.
Prevent sensitive company data from being exposed through AI tools.
Monitoring & Incident Response
Monitor security alerts and logs.
Investigate suspicious activity.
Respond to security incidents.
Perform root cause analysis.
Develop incident response procedures.
Conduct post-incident reviews.
Security Audits & Compliance
Perform regular security assessments.
Conduct vulnerability assessments.
Coordinate penetration testing.
Maintain cybersecurity documentation.
Develop company security policies.
Ensure compliance with security best practices.
Backup & Disaster Recovery
Design backup strategies.
Test backup recovery procedures.
Develop disaster recovery plans.
Ensure business continuity.
Employee Security Awareness
Train employees on cybersecurity best practices.
Conduct phishing awareness campaigns.
Develop internal security guidelines.
Promote a security-first culture across the organization.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Cyber Security or System Administration.
Strong understanding of Windows Server and Linux administration.
Experience with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls).
Experience with Microsoft 365 Security and Microsoft Entra ID.
Experience with vulnerability management.
Knowledge of Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR).
Experience with SIEM platforms.
Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
