Responsibilities:

Preventive Maintenance:

• Perform regular inspections of trucks according to the maintenance schedule.
• Check safety systems, engine, transmission, braking system, lighting, tires, and other essential components.
• Prepare detailed reports for maintenance activities and identified defects.

Corrective Maintenance and Repairs:

• Carry out necessary repairs in case of failures, both on-site and in workshops.
• Replace worn or faulty parts, such as filters, brake pads, tires, batteries, etc.
• Use tools and equipment correctly to perform repair work.

Collaboration with Dispatch Teams:

• Maintain constant communication with dispatchers to coordinate maintenance schedules and urgent repairs.
• Ensure that vehicles are prepared and available for transportation as quickly as possible.

Record Keeping and Monitoring:

• Update vehicle maintenance databases and records.
• Monitor the technical condition of vehicles and spare parts to prevent major failures.

Compliance with Safety Standards:

• Maintain a safe working environment, following safety regulations and internal policies.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement more efficient maintenance practices to reduce repair costs and downtime.
• Participate in evaluating and testing new technologies and equipment.

Requirements:

• Certification in automotive/engineering fields is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in truck or heavy equipment maintenance.

Skills:

• Advanced knowledge in automotive mechanics, including transmission, braking, and engine systems.
• Diagnostic skills for identifying technical issues.
• Knowledge of tools and maintenance equipment.
• Communication and collaboration skills.
• Driver’s Experience: Experience as a truck driver is an advantage.
• Languages: Intermediate English (for communication with teams and use of technical manuals).
