Orange Systems is looking for a new colleague to fill in the position of Data Analyst to work with our International Partners.
what you will be doing:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, operations, and business teams to translate telecom-specific requirements into actionable insights, ensuring high data quality and consistency
- Perform in-depth data analysis to assess quality, completeness, and meaning of telecom datasets
- Analyze large and diverse datasets (probes, CDR/xDR, signaling logs) to identify patterns, detect anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and propose optimization solutions
- Design and develop data models, and reporting layers to support telecom analytics and business needs
- Build, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries in ClickHouse for efficient data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and ad-hoc reports in Grafana to monitor network performance, service quality, and customer experience KPIs
- Work with mobile network data across 2G/3G/4G/5G technologies, including protocols such as SIP, DNS, HTTP, Diameter
- Analyze end-to-end service call flows (registration, call setup, data sessions, roaming scenarios) to identify bottlenecks and performance degradation points
- Define, validate, and monitor Service Assurance, Service Performance, and Customer Experience KPIs
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of data pipelines and integration of analytics solutions into OLAP platforms
- Work with technical documentation and perform research in telecom standards and specifications (ETSI, 3GPP, GSMA, ITU) to support analysis, KPI definitions, and implementations
- Lead or contribute to data-driven projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery aligned with stakeholder expectations
what we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within telecom, networking, or service assurance domains or Telecom Engineer, with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret datasets
- Solid understanding of mobile technologies and generations (2G/3G/4G/LTE/5G), including core and radio network fundamentals
- Good knowledge of mobile network performance, Quality of Service (QoS), and Customer Experience KPIs
- Experience with Service Assurance, Service Performance, and KPI-driven monitoring frameworks
- Understanding of telecom protocols and call flows (e.g., SIP, DNS, HTTP, Diameter; registration, voice, data, roaming scenarios)
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with high-performance databases (ClickHouse preferred)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Grafana or similar)
- Familiarity with telecom data sources such as probes, CDR/xDR, and network counters
- Experience in data modeling, datamarts, and data pipeline design
- Ability to work with and interpret technical documentation, including telecom standards and specifications
- Willingness and ability to research and understand industry standards (ETSI, 3GPP, GSMA, ITU) when required
- Good command of technical English (written and spoken) in a telecom/IT context
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
