An international Fintech company is looking for a specialist to work from the office in Chișinău. We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to help improve product quality through building and maintaining automated tests. You will work on complex business flows and play a key role in integrating automation into the development process, collaborating closely with engineering and product teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated tests (UI and API)
• Define automation strategies for different components
• Identify and prioritize test scenarios for automation
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Execute automated tests and analyze results
• Collaborate with developers to improve testability
• Contribute to testing standards and best practices

Manual testing (complementary):

• Validate end-to-end flows
• Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases
• Support regression testing and pre-release validation

Requirements:

• Experience in test automation (UI and/or API)
• Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
• Good understanding of testing concepts and bug lifecycle
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
• Basic programming knowledge (JavaScript, Java, Python, or similar)
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have:

• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• SQL knowledge and database validation
• Experience testing on Android and iOS
• Experience in fintech, banking, or lending products
• Experience with performance or security testing
