Role Overview

• Lead accounting, financial reporting, and compliance services for a portfolio of local and international
• clients. The role combines technical expertise, team leadership, and client management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage client portfolio and oversee full-cycle accounting & reporting
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and IFRS
• Review financial data, reconciliations, and closing processes
• Maintain high quality standards and support audits
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
• Identify business growth opportunities and support new client onboarding
• Monitor financial performance, KPIs, and improve processes
• Drive system usage, automation, and efficiency

Requirements

• Certified Accountant in Moldova (mandatory)
• Degree in Accounting/Finance; ACCA (in progress or completed) – advantage
• 8–12+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in managing teams and client portfolios
• Strong knowledge of local GAAP, IFRS, and reporting processes
• Advanced Excel and accounting systems skills
