We are looking for a skilled and reliable Middle Fullstack Developer to join the team behind DevelopmentAid.org — a leading SaaS platform with over 15 years of history and a strong position as #1 in its sector.

Our product is a large-scale, continuously evolving system composed of interconnected services. You will primarily work on backend development while also contributing to frontend components when needed. We value clean architecture, performance, security, and high-quality code.

This role is ideal for someone who works independently, takes ownership, continuously improves their technical and organizational skills, and effectively uses AI tools to enhance productivity and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend features using PHP and Laravel
• Work with databases and ORM tools such as Doctrine
• Contribute to frontend components using Angular
• Design, implement, and optimize APIs and internal services
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
• Write and maintain unit tests
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, reporters, and stakeholders
• Contribute to sprint planning, task estimation, and technical discussions
• Use AI-powered development tools effectively to improve development workflow
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and best practices

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with PHP and Laravel
• Experience working with relational databases
• Experience with Angular (building and maintaining UI components)
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments
• Experience writing unit tests
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows
• Solid understanding of clean code principles and software design patterns
• Good understanding of application performance and security best practices
• Experience working in Agile teams
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
• Practical experience using AI tools (eg, AI coding assistants) to improve development workflow
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team
• Conversational English knowledge

Bonus Skills

• Experience working with an ORM such as Doctrine
• Experience working on large-scale or long-running SaaS platforms
• Experience optimizing complex database queries
