Misiunea Sociala Religioasa Diaconia a Mitropoliei Basarabiei
The "Diaconia" Social Mission of the Metropolis of Bessarabia has been running for the 6th year
consecutive Easter campaign "Masa Cururiai".
It took place on April 4 in all stores in the Linella, Unimarket,
Riga, Green Hills Market, Velmart, Fourchette for the purpose of collecting food products
for needy people.
On the eve of the Easter holiday, over a hundred young people are involved wholeheartedly in the role of volunteers to provide a hot lunch to the lonely elderly, homeless and people kept in bed. They collected 22 tons of food products. Food will be distributed to people needy with the help of a mobile canteen with the title "Almost de Proepo".
The 22 tons of food products proved that there are good and generous people who made a donation from soul to soul, this filled the plates of hungry people.
