Philip Morris Sales & Marketing Ltd. on behalf of its partner is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Product Development Specialist to join our Smoke-Free Products (SFP) team.

This is a unique opportunity for a young professional (with or without prior experience in similar roles) to contribute to product and packaging development and ensure smooth coordination of portfolio initiatives that support our smoke-free vision.

Your “day to day”

• As a Product Development Specialist, you will:
• Support the planning and execution of new product launches and portfolio initiatives within the SFP category.
• Assist in the development and adaptation of packaging in line with global brand guidelines, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of portfolio projects.
• Manage the administrative and operational follow-up of projects, including timelines, approvals, and documentation.
• Track project progress, secure alignment across functions, and ensure flawless execution.
• Prepare presentations and materials for internal stakeholders related to product and packaging initiatives.
  

Candidate Profile

• Proactive, with strong ownership skills, seeing tasks through from start to finish.
• Capable of seeing the big picture while managing operational details.
• A strong team player, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Background, competencies and skills

• University degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field
• Previous experience (internship, entry-level, or other roles) in project coordination, packaging, or marketing is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Good organizational and project management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Romanian and English, including advanced grammar proficiency with ability to draft and proofread texts. Fluency in Russian is a strong asset.
