Orange Moldova is looking for a new colleague to fill in the position of DATA Scientist.
The objective of this job is to analyse company’s data, data sources, data flows and business requirements in order to propose/build solutions for output datamarts, data visualisation and usefull data insights for business needs.
what you will be doing:
- Identify patterns in data, meaning of data, preprocess and clean the data, anomaly detection, generating insights from data sets
- Analysis of large and varied data sets, identification of root cause and suggesting best solutions for building datamarts/reports
- Maintenance and optimization of existing AI/ML predictive models (train, test and fine-tune them for optimal performance)
- Develop new predictive models (project definition, data requirements, modeling, pilot, industrialization, monitoring, documentation)
- Design data modeling processes to create algorithms and predictive models, perform custom analysis
- Connect with stakeholders to gain a full understanding of the problems they’re looking to solve using AI/ML technologies
what we are looking for:
- Experience with relational databases Oracle, Postgre SQL
- Programming experience in SQL, Python
- Experience in ETL/DataMarts principles
- Knowledge of data visualization software like Qlikview/QlikSense, Metabase
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical/non-technical terms
- Strong analytical skills and mathematical ability
- Experience in telecommunications business is an advantage
- Technical English in corresponding area
