We're looking for a skilled API integration professional to join a fast-growing tech company.
The company is building the next generation of digital identity solutions tailored for the AI era—leveraging SIM-based authentication, QR/NFC verification, and frictionless checkout. Backed by reputable investors and trusted by major telecom and enterprise partners, this startup operates globally with a fully remote team.
About the Role
You will work closely with a lean, globally distributed engineering team to integrate complex third-party APIs into scalable, production-ready flows. This role requires both technical precision and creativity—turning rough specs into reliable implementations that support telecom-grade demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate API documentation into working requests with speed and clarity;
- Automate routine API interactions using lightweight scripting (Node.js, Python, Bash);
- Maintain secure and consistent authentication flows (JWT, RS256, bearer tokens, client assertions);
- Contribute to internal tooling and ensure all work is clearly documented for other engineers.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience working with REST APIs (fetch, axios, curl, etc.);
- Advanced knowledge of Postman (or similar tools such as Insomnia, Hoppscotch);
- Comfortable writing scripts for authentication and data handling (e.g. JSON parsing, RS256 JWTs);
- Solid understanding of modern authentication flows;
- Comfortable working in an async, remote-first environment (Slack, Jira, Git).
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with telecom APIs (SMS, SIM, voice);
- Familiarity with Postman automation (pre-request scripts, CI using Newman);
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 / OIDC server-side flows.
Why Join Us?
- Work on cutting-edge digital identity technology for the AI-powered future;
- Collaborate across time zones in a flexible remote team;
- Ship impactful code with minimal bureaucracy;
- Join a team of experienced engineers with a practical, low-meeting culture.
