We are seeking a  Senior Database Administrator  to support banking systems. The role involves full lifecycle database administration, performance tuning, and ensuring high availability and data protection.

Must-Have Requirements:

• Strong experience with  OpenEdge RDBMS (v11/12)
• Deep understanding of  architecture, backup/recovery (probkup, prorest ), and  replication
• Proficiency in  performance tuning, schema management, and access control
• Scripting skills  (Bash, PowerShell, or Python ); automation experience
• Experience in  Linux/Unix & Windows environments
• Familiarity with  OpenEdge  tools ( Explorer, Management )
• Collaboration with  ABL developers  and  support teams
• Good understanding of  security, HA, and disaster recovery  practices

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of REST APIs, SQL, hybrid data environments
• Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD
