Our client, a branch of a leading global audit company with an office in Azerbaijan, is announcing a competition to fill the vacant position of SENIOR AUDIT MANAGER, BAKU.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage engagement teams;
• Manage and develop client relationship;
• Plan audit, oversee fieldwork and review audit file;
• Ensure quality of work and compliance with applicable professional standards;
• Foster introduction of new audit tools and techniques;
• Be conscious of professional liability;
• Refer ethical, independence and conflict issues associated with clients and assignments to the Partner;
• Develop understanding of client industries and identify value added recommendations;
• Represent BDO in a professional manner at all times through punctuality & appearance;
• Meet client expectations and project deadlines;
• Develop people.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Higher education degree;
• Over 8 years of experience in the field of external auditing;
• Strong understanding of ISA and ISQM requirements;
• Internationally recognized professional qualification (CA, CPA or ACCA);
• Fluency in English. Professional experience must include proficiency in English as a primary working language. Native-level proficiency in Russian is preferred;
• Strong analytical, planning and communication skills;
• Demonstrable team management experience;
• Ability to demonstrate presentation skills and strong team leadership skills;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
