Experienced Machine Engineer for our office in Chișinău.

Frank Technologies, a new Tunetanken and Scan-Plast branch in Moldova is an international company that develops, produces and markets a large number of different products manufactured wholly or partly in fibre-reinforced composite materials. We therefore address many different industries and customer groups. We do marketing under different product line names.

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Highly skilled in metal fabrication (TIG welding, MIG Welding);
• Experience working with sheet metal;
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in metal fabrication and welding;
• Strong welding, cutting, and measuring skills;
• Ability to use various metal fabrication tools and equipment;
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings;
• Execute and support projects from inception, through design, review, build and deployment;
• Deliver creative, innovative, effective solutions to challenging engineering problems;
• Knowledge about materials and manufacturing processes; integration and testing;
• Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• A passion for science and engineering;
• A Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
• Experience in enclosure design: sheet metal, extruded frames, thermal management, safety;
• Working knowledge of a variety of manufacturing techniques such as CNC machining, 3D printing, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding;
• Proficiency in engineering software as well as MS Word and Excel;
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, basic mill/lathe machine tools, or a desire to learn;
• Able to transition between independent and group work;
• A compulsive problem solver; detail oriented and self-driven;

• Strong work ethic and the ability to produce accurate work to strict project deadlines;
• Flexibility to work both in the design office and on construction teams.
