smartdata is looking for a Junior Data Engineer (Python) to help our Data Team by delivering the cleanest data.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean and reshape raw data from varying sources and in different formats;
• Conduct data analyses;
• Run predefined ETL pipelines and work together with Software Engineers on implementing and improving ETL pipelines;
• Interpret, reflect, and report on the results;
• Develop and improve new tools using cutting edge technology focusing on efficiency and automation.

Job Requirements:

• Experience working with Python (Pandas and NumPy); 
• Experience working with SQL;
• Detail oriented & logical thinking;
• Team player mentality & proactive personality;
• You are fluent in English.

It is a plus if you have experience working with: 

• Docker and/or Kubernetes; 
• AWS (EC2 and S3).
