Amdaris is looking for a Data Architect who will have a hands-on role with responsibility to develop data architecture and modeling strategies, design, implement and support data architecture deliverables for multiple data integration, data management, data warehousing, business intelligence and analytics projects. They will also be able to deliver solid, extensible, highly-available data models and data environments that supports the current and future business and technical requirements.

As Data Architect, you will consult with information technology, data analytics, product creation, and development staff to assure the architecture is aligned with and capable of supporting the business strategies. We are looking for seasoned professionals looking to make an impact - both with clients and in their personal career.

Necessary skills:

Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or related field required
5+ years’ experience in data engineering and/or architecting required.
Experience in working with Hadoop/Big Data technologies (including Impala) and Spark
Experience in delivering data using streaming technologies Kafka, Flume and Kinesis is a plus.
In-depth understanding of database structure principles
Extensive experience with data virtualization technologies like Composite
Familiarity with Oracle or MSSQL

Additional skills/qualifications:

Extensive experience with AWS or Azure cloud hosting and data managed services on cloud.
Leverage technical expertise and industry trends to influence business and product strategy and development best practices.
Extensive experience in ETL and business intelligence.
Exceptional technical experience and knowledge of web services technologies, integration technologies, data transformations and data analytics, managing and optimizing complex technology transformation.
Knowledge and familiarity with Data Governance.
