Currently we are looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to our Polish team. Taking a Senior Delivery Management role at EPAM you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and constantly improving delivery practices, team cooperation and its development while ensuring the game plan alignment.
Moreover, you will also have a chance to cooperate with in-market internal competency centers and practices like Cloud, Big Data or Digital Engagement to leverage your capabilities and to maximize the value provided to the client.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery Management:
Take end-to-end accountability for delivery across your programs and its results
Build Delivery Roadmap and Book of Work along with estimations on scope, budget, and time
Adjust a Resource Plan/ Team Roster in terms of roles, seniority, and quantity required to successfully achieve a project goal
Look after a Solution Architecture design and oversee its implementation
Provide technical guidance and oversight for teams and managers under your supervision
Establish an Account Development Plan working together with Account Management unit
Ensure appropriate Delivery Health status reporting and back-to-green plans wherever necessary
Define criteria concerning deliverability, performance, and cost
Generate an added value to the client by bringing innovative solutions resolving business problems that using technology can provide efficiency and user experience improvements
Safeguard appropriate software development processes and engineering standards are in place
Project Management:
Establish a long-term partnership with your clients and manage their expectations
Act as a single point of contact and responsibility over any delivery-related matter, including escalations, upsells, ramp-downs etc
Capture all delivery, people, and client-related risks, report them timely
Create and execute a mitigation game plan addressing defined risks looking for best suitable options for all parties, stay close to the client and EPAM Leadership
Guide your delivery staff sharing best practices, streamlining delivery processes, and removing impediments
Take care of a governance process per selected engagement model
Participate in contract extension discussion and work alongside Account Management on client proposals and statements of work
Assist in drafting and reviewing an engagement revenue and margin forecasts
Review invoices calculation per Team Roster and chosen engagement model
Cooperate with competency centers, practices, R&D and consulting centers addressing complex challenges improving EPAM capabilities you offer to the client
Resource Management:
Bring talented people to EPAM and to all programs you are overseeing
Act as a Business Unit partner across the project portfolio
Keep seniority and people-focus on the appropriate level the organization is moving on
Supervise project assignment for individuals being a part of your organization
Conduct performance appraisals and compensation reviews within your talent pool
Support knowledge management across the organization, define skills/ technologies to be learned and request respective trainings
Create a space for Innovation and constant Learning & Development activities
Perform motivation actions keeping the team united and goal oriented
REQUIREMENTS
Solid expertise in IT Project and Program Management, including overseeing several engagements in parallel, Stakeholder and Escalation Management, and in establishing appropriate Governance structure
Proven experience in running 50+ FTE software delivery organizations
Excellent knowledge and practice of Agile software development methodologies
Familiarity with IT consulting engagement models
Rich grasp of technical landscape across various technology stack and readiness to engage with the client in Solution Architecture discussion
Demonstrated skills in Talent Management and tailored career advancement opportunities
Long-lasting experience in SDLC and solid understanding of software engineering principles and practices
Ability to self-start with wide-ranging and end-to-end care of any taken initiative
Fluent English, both spoken and written
